Airport Security Proven to be a Useless Theatrical Exercise

I only wish to add: if the new ‘enhanced’ (and degrading) security-measures are not stopping guns and bombs from getting through, then there’s an obvious conclusion that you will not hear from your shitty mainstream media outlet:

The War on Terror is bunk; the world did not ‘change’ on 9/11; there is no ‘global terror network’, just the usual nutters and desperadoes who occasionally get lucky, same as always.

Pass it on.

Getting past ‘security’ to get into court buildings is a comparably irritating pantomime. Everyone knows it’s just going through the motions – I wonder if anything serious that wasn’t self evident, for example a plainly drunk or aggressive person – has ever been spotted by court security. Most security staff have a sensible approach to their task but you get the odd bumptious one who makes life especially tiresome. Even with goodwill and commonsense the system causes great pointless pileups of people…

Sounds good – the creative process bubbling away. Try not to let procrastination hold everything back or the allure of a new thing let you abandon the old. Perhaps now more than ever it would be best to keep up the Daily G. Keep you writing, thinking and exercise the discipline within that.

Oi! Christmas holidays are over, give us an update!

Hmm… it ain’t going to be ‘daily’ any more despite the name so I’m unsure whether to continue, but I will see if I can get around to weekly posts, something like that.

Glad to hear it. You can pretend the name was secretly ironic all along.

Is the book taking up a lot of your time?

I pass it on every conversation I get.

I must confess I fully agree with you. Though, we might both be wrong.

Fuck’s sake. When I think it is bad it gets worse tomorrow.
